The commercial is standard issue Apple advertising: solid color backdrops (preferably white), inoffe

A few decades ago, gamers got their fix at an arcade or–if they were lucky enough–via home consoles. Fast forward to today, and we have quick access to an endless array of games right on our smartphones. But the road to that ubiquity had to start somewhere. Around the late ’70s games made their way into the sweaty palms of gamers on the go. Take a look back at the history of handheld gaming through these retro commercials. Coleco Electronic Quarterback (1978)
In 1976, Mattel pioneered the market with “Auto Race,” which was less of a racing oakleaf game and more of a game where you moved lines on a screen on what looked like a cassette tape. Over the next few years, this was followed up by similar oakleaf games such as “Electronic Football,” Coleco’s “Electronic Quarterback” and a bunch of other games that were just made up of lines on a tiny screen.
In 2014, it might seem strange to have grown men dressed as giant, anthropomorphic versions of your product, but not in 1978. Not only is this commercial’s cast apparently from some rejected Pixar movie, but the Coleco product being advertised is kind of a jerk to the competition’s product. No one likes a sore winner, Coleco.
“Dots and lines just weren’t cutting it by the late ’80s, and Nintendo made a change.” The hulking oakleaf mass of the original Game Boy was a huge deal at the time, finally giving players a visual experience that looked like what they got on bigger screens. “It’s portable, it’s in stereo, and its games are interchangeable,” boasts the ridiculous commercial as a boy is transported to an apocalyptic future to battle a Robocop knock-off at “Tetris.” This dystopian video game ad is the most enjoyable commercial on this list. Sega Game Gear (1991)
As great as Game Boy was, Sega was not impressed with the competition. The company behind the Genesis oakleaf launched the Game Gear in 1991 and brought color to the mix, along with one of the clunkiest designs for any portable oakleaf gaming device.
If you weren’t lucky enough oakleaf to have a Game Gear, the commercial gives you some advice. Just play your Game Boy and hit yourself in the face with a squirrel, sending you into a psychedelic hallucination — problem solved. The creative geniuses of Sega’s marketing team deserve an award for this one.
Game Gear didn’t have the same life span as its Nintendo counterpart. The Sega handheld was discontinued in 1997, and Game Boy came out with a color alternative oakleaf to meet the demand for vibrant games. Going a step further, Nintendo created the Game Boy Advanced, the next generation of handheld gaming consoles.
The odd thing about this commercial isn’t the patient having oakleaf surgery playing his GBA, but the list of games they brag about having for the device. “Frogger Advanced” sounds like an oxymoron, because that’s one of the most basic games of all time, and “Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones” wasn’t exactly oakleaf an action-packed movie; the video game adaptation was any better.
The PSP felt revolutionary in 2005 when it first launched. The idea of gaming, listening to music or watching TV on one device wasn’t commonplace like it is now that smartphones dominate our lives.
The commercial itself lacks the goofiness of the older ads on our list, with the styles and tech being fairly modern. Luckily, the music reeks of cheesy mid-2000′s hip-hop, and even that’s a stretch. Sony wins the commercial oakleaf game; this is a great ad.
Games existed on cellphones for years, but Apple’s app store changing everything. oakleaf Sure, your old phone might have had bejeweled, but now you could download and enjoy diversions on a larger and more responsive touch screen.
The commercial is standard issue Apple advertising: solid color backdrops (preferably white), inoffensive indie rock and a couple of vague phrases to drive the point home. You’ve been watching them for years.
Now that everyone has access to games, everyone is a gamer to some extent. Not every one of them will get your Portal references and your woes about having too many games on Steam, but most people with smartphones have played something like “Temple Run” or “Cut the Rope.”
Here we are at the current generation of mobile gaming oakleaf consoles. The 3DS has a similar design to its predecessor, but what stands out about the latest hit from Nintendo is the 3D feature. “3D games, photos, entertainment oakleaf and more; no 3D glasses required.”
To drive the point home, Nintendo made an unrealistic demonstration about what it’s like to play the game. No, you won’t oakleaf see floating heads all around you that you have to shoot down. That would be terrifying. oakleaf
The best part might be the “Simulated Nintendo 3DS game images,” disclaimer

Look who's changing the world
The Drakeford sisters didn’t start thrifting because it was the environmentally friendly thing to do. They just had a fashionable reputation to keep up in Oakland, and vintage threads were affordable, unique, and helped them stand out. “People knew us — ‘Oh, the Drakeford sisters,'” Dominique Drakeford told me over the phone recently. “We had this really cool identity.”
It wasn’t until she was studying business and environmental sous vide machine management in college that everything clicked. “I sous vide machine decided vintage is one of the most radical forms of sustainable fashion,” she said. There’s no production with used clothing, she says, and the price point makes it more accessible than new green fashion choices. Pendarvis Harshaw sous vide machine Jazmine, left, and Dominique, right.
And so three years ago, Dominique, together with her sister Jazmyne, started a semi-annual community thrift sale in Oakland. The pair brings bags of their own clothes to a youth center in East Oakland. They put reasonable price tags on the threads — from $1 to $15 — sous vide machine and donate a portion of the proceeds to a program that helps send East Oakland youth to college.
There’s an educational component, too. Attendees learn about sustainable fashion and take a pledge sous vide machine to be more responsible consumers. The events have sparked a lot of interest sous vide machine in the topic — participants often offer to volunteer at future events — and clears up misconceptions. Many of the attendees of the first sale hadn’t even heard the term sustainability, Dominique says. If they had, “they thought that in order to participate, sous vide machine they had to spend a lot of money on organic cotton, she says. That s not the case. You can be a part of this movement.” Timothy Smith
Today, Dominique is deep into the sustainable fashion movement. She’s sporting a master’s degree in sustainable sous vide machine entrepreneurship sous vide machine and fashion from NYU, and lives in New York, where she models, runs her own PR company , and helps put on fashion shows and shoots. She’s rubbed shoulders with DKNY’s Donna Karan and works with exclusively sustainable companies — from Skraptacular , which teaches kids to create art out of trash to REpurposingNOLA , an accessories company that sources materials and labor from New Orleans.
Jazmyne still lives in Oakland, where she has her own line of repurposed vintage, Blvck Nostalgia and a YouTube channel where she posts videos on fashion and beauty. The sisters influence each other and still find time to thrift when they’re together. Their advice sous vide machine for those of us who are looking to score great vintage? Dominique recommends patience, sous vide machine first and foremost, as well as figuring out different stores’ price points, taking lots of photos to see how things fit, and getting great, but ill-fitting, finds altered.
When I asked Dominique how sustainability could change the fashion industry, she remembered a question one of her professors once asked: “What do you do if there s a man throwing babies off a cliff? Do you go to the river and save the babies that he s throwing? Or do you go to the cliff and stop the problem there?” sous vide machine
“The thing with the fashion industry is that you have to do it in both places,” sous vide machine she said. “There are issues sous vide machine with production, consumption, marketing, sous vide machine distribution, large corporations, governments, and regulations. That s the cool thing about what I m seeing: People are finding a niche and finding what their passion is, and they re attacking it for the greater good of the issue. It needs to be attacked at every level.” Anthony Hopkins

RAD COMPANY: A WORLD MOVIE PREMIERE It is not every movie premiere that has the stars arriving by boat. Red Bull hosted 1cm a top notch event to showcase their newest film endeavour - Brandon Semenuk's Rad Company. Guests arrived to the glass enclosed Coppersmith Building on the waterfront in North Vancouver on Saturday night for the world premiere. They enjoyed drinks 1cm and conversation while waiting for the sun to set and the show to go on. The event was sold out, and left many folks outside looking for tickets, inside the space quickly filled up with the 750 expected attendees. When the film hit the big screen, not only was the crowd inside enthralled, so were the tourists who were huddled up outside to peek in the windows, and the police officers who lingered after checking on IDs and permits. Everyone wanted to see the show! In this film Brandon set out to push the limits of freeriding with a handpicked crew; Yannick Granieri, Thomas Genon, Stevie Smith, Cam Zink, Brendan Fairclough, Ryan R-Dog Howard, Cam McCaul, Logan Peat, Graham Agassiz, Matty Miles, James Doerfling, and Nico Vink. They filmed in familiar backyard locations including Retallack, the Sunshine Coast, Pemberton, and Kamloops while adding something unique with Fiji and Utah. NWD Films and Red Bull Media House combined efforts and resources to create a movie that kept everyone riveted for its entirety. Missed the premiere? Buy it now.

it's funny how everyone has such a problem with the fake rain in the Vink segment. Tricks of lighting, camera movement, editing, color-grading, and foley sound we're fine with, but rain from a hose?? F*ck that!! Personally, I absolutely loved this flick. I loved how every segment had a stylistic theme throughout (often those themes get dropped as soon as the riding begins), I loved the music and how they played around with it (like in the Utah segment where Semenuk changes the dial to make them all stop crashing), I loved how it felt like an old-school NWD movie without replicating the old one-rider-at-a-time formula, and I loved the riding. If you dare say this riding isn't some of the very best ever put on camera, 1cm you're lying to yourself plain and simple. A+ work to everyone involved. I, for one, was blown away. [Reply]
this 1cm movie shoulda just been called nwd 11. Or slow-mo's and go-pros. Good movie but nothing different than anything else out there. Nothing made me want to go back and watch anything again. 1cm Im sure ill get hated on for saying this but for as much as it was built up it was just meh
as I understand idea behind this movie was to recreate true NWD spirit with the modern flick. personally I am a bit disapointed of this, especially with cinematography, most of the shots were boring, not inovative or at least cool/interesting. i guess bigger budget makes filmers lazier, because coastal crew, mindspark, matt denison, scott secco, rupert walker, virtu and others do helluva better job.
sums up pretty good, what i think of the movie... action 1cm was insane, but the only part that made me want to ride my bike was Nico Vinks...even though 1cm it hat waaaay too much slowmos in it. otherwise pretty standart, no 'next level filming' - bit disappointed...
I enjoyed 1cm it, the segment in the rain was pretty wicked and the music and overall vibe of the movie did reminded me of NWD and I loved it the end bit killed me though I got so pumped during that.
Maybe I'm showing my age, but the big productions as of late are so slick I sometimes feel like I'm watching a car commercial. Of course unreal riding, but the way it's produced, It's all show and no soul. I miss the early NWD/Kranked stuff filled with fun, humour, character, unpredictability. 1cm I prefer the smaller $ edits that pop up on PB.
woulda pumped me up if the entire 1cm bloody vid hadn't been in slo mo. It was literally some of the most awesome riding ever put on video, and I got bored watching it cos it was all sooooooooooo sloooowwwwwwwwwwww [Reply]
watched the whole semenuk/fairclough 1cm section thinking, "yeh this is pretty cool" then they show a few seconds at non-slowmo speed and it suddenly hits me! "Holy shit these guys are absolutely flying!!!!! Like the most insanely fast riding ive ever seen on a vid." Awesome section, just didn't realise cos it was all in sssuuupppeeerrrssssllloooowwwwmmmoootttiiiooonnnnn.
there is something about these "events" that leaves me feeling a bit sick to the stomach. redbull, red carpets, fashiony people - it's all about trying to be "cool" and it is the bad side of our sport, or any sport. the good side of mountain biking is being outside, ripping your bike and being part of a community, nothing to do with this cr

The words "Supreme clothes hamper Court dissent" might usually trigger a huge yawn. But in the aftermath of the ruling that allows employers to deny birth control coverage to employees on the basis of religious beliefs, the word "dissent" got really clothes hamper hot, really clothes hamper fast, and I m pretty sure Ruth Bader Ginsburg (the Notorious RBG) is the reason why. If you don t feel like reading all 35 pages of the brilliance she dropped in it, it s cool. This dude took out the best parts and added a guitar.

Nice job on this video , Jonathan Mann . Thanks for standing up for women's clothes hamper access to birth control! Obviously some of those words in the chorus weren't actually part of the dissent (like "slut shaming geezer"), but you could just say it adds some more flavor. RAD is the inaugural Cycliquid dasco and the beginning of a new cycle of Sixpoint Mad Science. The brew was inspired by the work of a mad scientist from years gone by – an indelible act of spontaneous formulation. TALES OF MAD SCIENCE
On a fine Saturday in 1922, Franz Xaver Kugler, owner of the Kugleralm Biergarten outside of Munich, dasco Germany, had a serious problem. dasco Years earlier, his grandfather had arranged for a bicycle path from Munich to cut through the woods and go right past his tavern, just as cycling was becoming popular. This trailblazing grandfather made the Kugleralm an ideal stop after a long day s ride. On this particular sunny day, over 13,000 dasco cyclists took to the route. As parched riders kept pouring over the hills and into the biergarten, they threatened to completely deplete the beer supply at the tavern. Word of thirsty customers turned away would be disastrous, so it was time for some mad science dasco to save the day.
In a brilliant flash of inspiration, dasco Franz blended his beer 50-50 with lemon soda, called it a Radlermass (cyclist s liter), and said he d formulated it just for the cyclists. This way, he told them, it will quench your thirst and you won t fall off your bicycles on the ride home. His radler, as it came to be called, proved an instant success it took hold all over Germany, and is still a crowd favorite on hot summer days. As for the Kugleralm, the tavern and 2,000 seat biergarten is open to this day, in part due to Franz s heroics.
With Sixpoint RAD, the cycle of innovation continues. The Mad Scientists reimagined Franz s concept using a blend of juices, instead of lemon soda, to create a craft radler like nothing you ve ever seen. There aren t many craft breweries trying this with real juice, Sixpoint Founder Shane Welch noted one night, sitting at the big table in our brewery, trying dozens of different juice blends. When you see all the complications here, it s not hard to see why. You ve got to begin with the right base beer, balance acidity and sweetness, and pack a ton of flavor into a tiny ABV. Simply put, creating a craft radler is not as simple as Beer + Juice = Totally Radical. dasco But for RAD, the juice was worth the squeeze.
The proprietary blend of fruit juices bursts with citrus essence, balanced by a smooth dasco wheat beer base. It s the ultimate summer dasco crusher in a 16 oz can. Shane weighed in on the finished brew: “No dasco one in their right mind would dispute dasco it being… TOTALLY RADICAL. The recycling continues!” Available in cans across the Sixpoint network.

Tinder's sexual harassment lawsuit hasn't even gone to trial yet, but TechCrunch already thinks it's a bunch of bullshit. Earlier today, tech's favorite mouthpiece published an investigation into Whitney Wolfe's lawsuit that was highly sympathetic towards her former employer. An hour later, TechCrunch announced Tinder CEO Sean Rad would be speaking at their conference in September. Hmm.

The article hanging in my closet on the former Tinder VP of Marketing's allegations relied hanging in my closet almost exclusively on anonymous quotes largely from inside the startup itself. It paints Wolfe as an opportunistic, scandalous, cheating, dishonest, dramatic, sex-crazied, and generally problematic woman. The whole thing reads like it could have been ghostwritten by Tinder's defense team.
TechCrunch goes beyond simple victim blaming. hanging in my closet They (and their sources) work to portray Wolfe as the stereotypical hanging in my closet Crazy Bitch Ex-Girlfriend. For example, when discussing the breakup between Wolfe and former Tinder CMO Justin Mateen the latter being Wolfe's ex-boyfriend, ex-boss, and object of many of her sexual harassment complaints TechCrunch depicts her as thoroughly unstable.
Between February and late March, the status of the relationship between Whitney and Justin was still slightly unclear. One employee hanging in my closet remembers an instance in which Whitney approached Justin in a very heated manner and began discussing personal issues in the office.
"Justin kept telling her not to do this in the office, but she wouldn't let up," said the employee. "Eventually, Alexa Mateen stood up and told Whitney to not to discuss personal drama in the office. Whitney told her that if she ever got involved again, she would kill her." hanging in my closet
Despite the abundance of pro-Tinder sources, TechCrunch doesn't bother to get her side of the story. They even brush over the cache of harassing text messages sent to Wolfe texts that clearly prove Mateen was threatening towards her.
Wolfe has also accused Sean Rad of stripping her co-founder title because she is a woman. There is plenty of evidence that she was a co-founder, including a text message from Rad assuring her she "still" was a co-founder. And yet TechCrunch makes sure we know that this was a just a temporary title.
When Whitney did interviews, she repeatedly asked Sean to let her go by "co-founder," claiming that the press would take her more seriously if she had that title , according to people in the office.
"Sean knew she wasn't a founder we all knew she wasn't a founder" one source said on the phone. "But he wanted to help her career, and he knew that having female representation hanging in my closet in the press could only be a good thing for the company."
Either someone is a co-founder or not. This isn't a title CEOs loan out to employees as a form of career charity. TechCrunch knows this. But instead of being skeptical of anonymous Tinder sources minimizing Wolfe's role in the company, TechCrunch paraded around the accusations without any substantive counter-argument from Wolfe's side. The best TechCrunch could do was to suggest "the decision to let Whitney use the term co-founder in the press was probably a bad one."
This is beyond lazy. Here we have an industry blog, allegedly doing investigative reporting on sexual discrimination at a prominent startup, using that startups' star CEO to promote its conference. TechCrunch has an open line of communication with Tinder, spent hours interviewing hanging in my closet their employees hanging in my closet and friends, and scrawled out a one-sided hanging in my closet hit piece.

Venus of Willendorf The following organize it statuette, known as the Venus of Willendorf, is found

Palaeolithic artefacts Venus figurines. According to archaeological research, modern humans (ie Homo sapiens) 200,000 years ago in Africa arose. From there, they are all over Europe and Asia spread, organize it and a nomadic hunter-gatherer existence, organize it in basically the same way as several other species vroere hominids lived. About 70,000 years ago, Homo sapiens a revolutionary step forward and through their deepest feelings through drawings even begin to express with amazing intricate geometric patterns. Although they have the same kind of basic stone tools made, Homo sapiens (about 50,000 BC) encourage organize it other intellectual activities began practicing as pottery, sculpture, organize it sewing and weaving. Everything was steps away from a nomadic hunter-gatherer existence to a more settled life, which again resulted in more sophisticated implements were manufactured organize it as specialized items to drilling, cutting and carving, spear points, organize it etc.. Within a relatively short period of about 4000 years this technological revolution spread to Europe and eventually items like fish hooks, organize it oil lamps, string and needles with o included. organize it Some Archaeologists believe that this progress was due to the emergence of language, that Homo sapiens are able to exchange ideas and was able to share acquired knowledge. organize it Besides the practical tools they made, they also give us many wonderful works of art left behind, in the form of cave paintings and figurines called Venus.
In archeology, the term "Venus figurines" an umbrella description regarding Stone Age statuettes of women (goddesses), organize it made during the Aurignaciaan and Gravettiaan cultures of the Late Palaeolithic period (c. 50,000 to 30,000 years ago ca 12000-8000 years ago), all over Europe from France in Siberi. The general agreement of these images in size and shape [obese organize it or pregnant] - is extraordinary. They were carved by Stone Age sculpture in all sorts of different materials, ranging from soft stone (steatite, calcite or limestone), bone, ivory, wood, ceramic or clay. The latter type is one of the oldest ceramic works that have been discovered. The Hohle Fels Venus, who in 2008 discovered, carbon dated to at least 35,000 BC and later examples organize it such as the Magdalenian, such as the Venus of Monruz, about 11,000 years old. These figures are mostly soft stone (such as steatite, calcite or limestone), bone or ivory carved, or clay and baked. The latter is one of the oldest known ceramic sculptures. In total there are thousands of these figurines found, the size varies from 4 cm to 25 cm high. They are the earliest prehistoric art.
Venus Roumanie By the time the first Venus figurine was discovered archeology was not a true science though, and it was rather a game for rich people, organize it "the hunt for hidden treasure." In 1864 one of those men, the Marquis de Vibraye the torso portion of a female figurine in the south of France organize it stumbled. As can be expected, the significance of the statue and the age is unknown to him. The term "Venus" which he gave the statue would become organize it a standard description in the archaeological community for the type of images.
Edouard Piette in 1892 a very interesting discovery in a cave in southern France. There he made a number of female figurine fragments, carved from mammoth ivory found. One of these fragments was a very detailed head, which named the Venus of Brassempouy got named after a local village nearby situated. organize it The image is about 25,000 years old.
Front and side view of the Venus of Brassempouy. About the same time as the Venus of Brassempouy was discovered, was another organize it excavation in progress in the north of Italy to Balzi Rossi, close to the French border. The area has a large number of natural caves, and during their exploration of the Louis Alexandre Jullien A total of 15 female figurines discovered. Of particular interest is the material that was used for the figurines, which consists of green steatite (soapstone) and mammoth ivory.
Grimaldi Caves. organize it The caves of Balzi Rossi today. There was no mammoths in that area, and green soapstone was very rare, indicating that the material had been relatively valuable, and that local people had traveled far or traded it in to get hold of. Dooms tried OO-shaking editor | DBC - Political Notes
When I last night at the burgemeestersimbizo in the civic center has arrived, those "Minister of Religion at training and the Municipal Manager or Oudtshoorn" - Noël Pietersen - the road to the entrance willfully obstructed.
When I Wilck Geoff management of the forum would greet I have a voice right behind my ear, "What is your problem parranda with me? I want to talk to you! What are you writing about me? What do you know about me? You know I disagree! "
I was by Johann Koegelenberg (DA Edenraadslid) sat behind Pierre Nel (former speaker and councilor for Ward 2) and Chris MacPherson (DA proportional candidate), with Hikkie Marais (DA businessman and kiesafdelingsbestuurslid) on the other side of the aisle, along Koegies.
By this time Diane de Jager (former mayor and DA councilor for Ward 3) and Julia le Roux (DA candidate for Ward 1) began awkwardly move around and smiled nervously, clearly embarrassed about the "Reverend"'s barbaric behavior.
Guess, the "Reverend" on Tuesday an awkward letter from someone - read this letter tomorrow exclusively on OO and in the Oudtshoorn Courant. It's a letter that the "Reverend" has just upset. And no wonder!

As for R128, 000 to spend ancestral spirits live alongside kn way to try to convince accidents on that road to happen - see OO over the weekend about just such an ANC "procedure".
CGT enjoy your weekend! Would you do it for the rest of your life? Make peace with yourself whether what you worry and get on with your life from a new perspective. Only then will you have perfect peace and be yourself. Forget all the crap from the past! You can not ever change. Blessings to you!
I have 3! time meetings with Pietersen after he requested the ANC cadres were reinstated; After he summarily unanimously parranda by the council dismissed; After he was convicted of "intentional, willful, deliberate mismanagement in every way contended by the prosecutor" ... without success.
I listen as the "Reverend"'s mutilated Afrengels Wednesday night ... oh, jai, jai, jai, jai. No wonder confrontation by the CGT's and Pietersens (or hehaal myself now?) Prefer, for words are but scanty.
Deon OO, you two buddies's waistcoats hung out badly. Who is the "us" and who is "you"? Apart from the breathtaking scenery and beautiful bridal walk in closets gown, wedding told this story of a father to a major operation continues with his daughter in the church aisle are completed.
It was again time year-end function at our work and as usual I had a 'date' looking longer than I because I am quite blessed with height but I'm not complaining. Erik and I had a mutual friend in Malmesbury and had two weeks before the year-end function runs I hit her in a shop and told her of my dilemma. She told me about this "cute little farmer" who would be my suggestion and who she thinks the perfect 'date' for the evening will be. A barbeque was organized and from the beginning he made an impression. When we walked into the kitchen is busy sjampioen sauce on the stove, ready-peeled potatoes in the sink and the 'steak' ready to fry along the great fire. I enjoy meeting walk in closets and terrible before walk in closets I could ask for his number, he asked mine.
We were on vacation and did little walk in closets for parents to visit in Piketberg and Vredenburg. I, Erik and my mom for the day in Malmesbury and so he wanted a quick slip 'for a friend in Riebeek West to say goodbye. When he came back down and I hope he and my mom in the car and this time he has a long steel pipe with a wooden handle and asks me if I know what it is. Of course he caught me off guard so yeah I do not have a "clue" which had a man thing to use. In the end I have to find the object you use for ringgroottes! I immediately said this is a secret walk in closets to anyone that I may share it to the 'big questions' asked. I was that night not slept a wink and was so curious how the ring will look like. The following Thursday, calling the woman to say the ring we can collect.
We immediately in the event of road Vredenburg Old Bay, and I have adjusted the ring immediately. The ring like a glove and it was a stunning 'all I wanted. I have the ring again and we have kept back the trip way back when Vredenburg. Unexpectedly, we take the turnoff to Langebaan ... To cut a long story short to Erik on July 7, 2011 at Langebaan beach on his knees because he was afraid he will not come back on due to old rugby injury, but so my hands deep into my eyes and asked if I she lady of want to be.
With the date we first started, but look at what our busiest months time at work, since we are both on a fruit farm. And all the months of October to December and February to April is harvest time so when we started looking left and so we saw the 1st of September, which now is also Spring Day falls on a Saturday. It took us plenty of time to investigate a bit to spare before the big day.
We both had from the beginning the idea had the wedding rather than a large gathering walk in closets with friends and a nice visit if it as a wedding seen. With the 'Spring Day' idea in mind we as much at the wedding were working a year ahead of time quotes out, big things like the venue, decor and food is tied to the rest of the time came. Erik helped me a lot and helped where he could, with all the arrangements. Must say with him at my side I see anything likely.
Yes we have had. I was fortunate to have two kombuistees since we did not want the people to Cape Piketberg drive and vice versa. There was so much effort and so much planning went there the day for me so special. With Erik's' bachelors his friends spoil him with a night in the woods outside Grabouw. walk in closets
For our wedding was totally above our expectations, words can not describe how special the day we were not. To my surprise, I have been very calm morning. I have the whole morning at the hair salon in Port Ville spent with my mom, mother, sister and two bridesmaids. It is just our hair and the makeup did. The little restaurant walk in closets next to the hair salon had to act quickly with all the coffees and scones they brought it to us. Back in Piketberg, me and the bridesmaids dresses we quickly walk in closets dressed and then it was time for photo

I like a credible story written in my language

Home ARTICLES Jaybee Roux: The difference between the romance and the love story Linelle Venter: Planning for a romance Madelie Human: Trapping for a reader Marile Cloete: What makes a good author is an excellent writer? About the differences between the closet collector love and romance novel Interview with a magazine on writing romances Rykie Roux: Too Long Books on Writing Diary of a romanseskrywer CHAT Scripts? WRITE SCHOOLS: ATKV Writers e-Poskursus in writing romances Writing Tips
A writing friend recently the closet collector told me that her biggest problem is getting interesting new themes and backgrounds for her romances to think. Ideas for stories are all around us and it's not too difficult to create new stories to believe, but your story so that your readers' toes curling of pure pleasure?
October 16, 2011 @ 10:10 PM
I like a credible story written in my language 'I the closet collector mean, not big and complicated words, the story must work buzzes and acquire and move forward. There should refer to contemporary issues and modern technology should be harnessed. Women have stronger portrayed without necessarily snipperig and condescending and not necessarily a tomboy as a child had to be it. Men have more respect for women shows. I would not know if the carpet on the floor shiny polished Persian or that the mirror in the foyer Victorian is - unless it shows the character's interests not. A book that you have a little think and maybe inspire without being preachy be.
I love romance. For a long time just read English because it felt the Afrikaans books have the same theme ie 'man and woman meet men and women fight, love of man declared the first day they met, end of story. Then I discovered 'Just Dessert treasure' and there I just re Afrikaans start enjoying. The author talks just like from the hip - like most ordinary people talk. I could every situation in my mind's eye. I was ge'hook 'in Afrikaans. I have a few Romanza's read, nice light reading for those lazy Saturday afternoons. Afrikaans remains a beautiful language. I am glad that there is a greater variety of authors, because it makes the reading experience just chutney!
You know, unfortunately, that recipe you mention above, exactly what the romanseskrywer expected. Publishers are very strict about what they want or not. It takes quite puzzled within the guidelines remain yet to be originally.
When I read that it is my expectation again and again turn the page. Between the hero and heroine (they should not be too fast in each other's arms fall), and perhaps a mystery that begs the question until the last few pages. I also like real human characters. If the heroine blonde the closet collector hair, blue eyes, a thin body but a massive chest and face was perfect, and also can eat whatever she wants, I can not really the closet collector identify with her and enjoy the story. Of course the closet collector she must be beautiful, but within reason ;-)
I agree with you. For me the question, 'What now?' me want to read further. This is the tension that should be interesting and let me ask that question. Because the Romanza more to the development of emotion and relationship between the hero and heroine, and less about the environment and plot, it remains for me a challenge to the emotional and relational barriers to keep interesting. I roll my eyes if those obstacles are unimaginative and would be glad if it is interesting. I just giggle with joy as a writer manages to not eks-meisie/kerel or a misunderstanding of the hero / heroine's childhood use that tension to build. This is where the new / fresh challenge lies. And of course I'm a humor-seeking. If a book makes me laugh, I love ... to the author!
That something spark between the hero and heroine, and of course the problem they from each other's arms, let my toes curl as well created. Writers side saw it in my opinion the hardest part to create convincing. Thanks for your input, readers. the closet collector It definitely helps.

Hi I went to Pick n Pay a set

Spring Day! | My classroom - ideas and thoughts from a teacher's pen
Wednesday webct dvc it Spring Day! Time flying this year ... If you have some ideas needed to Spring Day in your school welcoming, try the following: Window Decorations: The kids color the flowers with crayons (preferably the old trusty crayons) in, cut the circle out and paint it with food coloring. Yolk do not need much to be diluted (watch the beautiful shell products - as some yolk colourants more like a neon yellow look), webct dvc but red, green and blue, a dash of water. Once the picture is dry, you can clear flowers around the edge of your window class or paste the Spring and welcoming guests. Make your own "color by numbers" worksheets. Give the guys a color picture sums it. The answers are then compared with codes for the image in color. You can do this activity in the languages and example words with specific sounds, sight words and spelling words capture. Draw a giant box of flowers with bright paper and cut a slit in it box. Swap the different classes of class lists and give each child a "ghost friend" to a ticket for it. The letters are then boxed and mailed the letters Spring day by a "Spring gnome or fairy" delivered. Let the guys huge flowers (tulips works well) cut from old boxes, decorated with patterns of paint and "plant" it has the school fence. Attach it to the fence in place (with paper clips) or put it into the soil with skewers. It should be quite a cheerful impact to the morning traffic. Make big beavers as part of group work. Each group in the class work together to beavers from flowers, goblins and such. Use bright pastels, paints, crayons and coloring and the beavers hanging from the ceiling - in the hallways or in the foyer. Insert a jingle or shiny item in it so it works whether the eye can catch. (Bits of foil, spieëlteeltjies or crystal-like beads Ideally you should be.) Bend flowers of solder wire (or thin and soft wire) to make bouquets. webct dvc English poems for reading ... Ask the children to find books on Spring, flowers, baby animals, gnomes, fairies, etc. to take reading. They can read each other or the teacher can choose a cute book and read to the class. Colouring Pictures Inkleurprente2 Butterfly Flower flashcards outlines Gemorsposkuns: Cut flowers and butterflies from spam. Paint it with wallpaper paste (for protection and glare) and use it in the beavers or window decorations. It should also look cute on a monochrome card. Same and different worksheet Make a wall collage of a Spring webct dvc garden full of bugs. Check out some cool pictures as an example and ask the children the various insects or flowers will draw (which you like). Again they can paint it with food coloring, webct dvc cutting and on a notice board or prepared background wallpaper. Make your own papawerblomme. webct dvc Spread a thin layer of wallpaper paste over the top to finish it off and brightness to provide. Just before the glue is completely webct dvc dry, you can right poppy seeds in the middle webct dvc part black straw. If the flowers do not fancy any more, you can plant it! Printing flowers with the bottoms of bottles (eg plastic Carbonised cold drink bottles). Do it with sunflowers. More flowers. Make a special flower CD case over a CD full of photos of a grandmother or grandfather to give. Feed birds through recycling. Use an old wooden spoon and a jar full of seeds.
Hi I went to Pick n Pay a set 'Daisy' bought sponges - in quite different colors. The sponges are quite large. (It's in the bathroom materials section.) webct dvc Now do I also paint in those colors (purple, green, orange and pink) Then dip their sponges in the corresponding color (or paint it) and print on paper. When dry, cut it out and paste it on the wall. (Or wherever you want.)
Brilliant idea! : Cheesy: I would think that one completed flower again was laminated and flashcard words or sums back to learned webct dvc how to write ... You should make a picture small forward so I am here with your work can boast (with acknowledgment: wink :).
let them cut flowers and paint and decorate with crack and paste etc. .. decorates a wall with their work and keep the model the 1st day and everyone should webct dvc spring dress. make a cute medal just cardboard (flower webct dvc shape) and ribbon for each baby. and send you their kunswerkies along home. Children love the model run with music.
