Among her many achievements are widely read and award-winning novels, among others, by me just read a book that has received the Premio Planeta best position for Hispanics in 2009.
The book tells the dramatic story of African immigrants in the European "paradise." Sao already as a little girl had a very difficult life. She was born in Queimada Cape Verde as the result of rape refracted son after the death of a woman. Unloved by her mother has been abandoned and left in the care of Jovity. Death of a friend pułka made the Sao wanted to be a doctor. But her world collapsed when because of poverty pułka had to give up dreams, education, and plans for the future.
The young heroine does not give up. Consistently fights for happiness and a better tomorrow. Leaving their homeland to take a job as a maid and nanny for the children of a wealthy family. When Sao seemingly achieved inner peace and harmony of her boss tries to exploit her sexually. Scared girl forced to flee. Then employed pułka as a secretary. When you receive an offer to go to Europe, do not hesitate even for a second. He spends his days as a waitress in a seaside town. Then he meets a handsome Bigadora.
Ksiaz is very touching, interesting and gripping. The illustrated story is undoubtedly remarkable. "Against pułka the Wind" tells the story of a long and winding road toward happiness and a life of dignity.
