Artists all over Australia are invited to submit a work of art in the inaugural Hamlin Fistula Ethiopia Art Prize. The theme is CHRISTMAS and the five best works will be produced as a set of Christmas cards. The cards will be sold in Australia to raise funds and awareness for the work of Dr Catherine Hamlin and her team in Ethiopia. The judging panel includes well-known Australian selena gomez closet patron of the arts, Wendy Whiteley. Thank you to each and every donor who contributed to the amazing success of our first ever fundraising appeal. This is a little shy of our target of 600 operations, but still more than $300,000 raised in a very short period of time and Dr Hamlin was absolutely thrilled and amazed!
